He loves you.

Jesus loves you oh so much. He wants you to love Him, too. Because, a life without love, is no life at all. More because a life of daily falling in love with the Savior of the World and His promises is the best life you could ever have.

He shows His love in many ways. A big way that He shows His love that I often forget is through the people that He has placed in my life that love me even though I am flawed. They are being Jesus to me on earth, for He loves me even though I am so far from perfect. Can you imagine a life without any love, admiration, care or respect shown to you from anyone in any form? To name a few, my parents love me so much they provided a home, education, transportation, clothing, activities for me; my friends include me in activities, keep me accountable, inquire as to my well being, help me study to do well; my teachers who help me to do well in classes, and also are concerned for my soul; and relatives who hug me when we meet and miss me when we are apart.

But, just having the breath of life and a heartbeat each day shows His love for us, because we do not deserve it. If I lived in the middle of the Sahara desert, a thousand miles from any other person, had no contact with any people, had never met my parents, had no friends, had never received a hug from anyone, no one ever asked me how I was doing, and no one provided housing, clothes, education, or transportation for me, Jesus my Savior would still love me with a passionate, all-consuming, selfless and sacrificial love that will never end.

Even without all those pleasures of human love and daily life, I would have His love through the gift of breathing, having the mind to find and prepare food for myself, build myself shelter, walking, seeing His beautiful creation, and using the creative body that He gave me to honor Him with my life.

But, He has been overwhelmingly good and gracious to me, placing me, not in the Sahara desert, but in a wonderful college town where I have met some of the most wonderful people in my life right now, where I still am in touch with my family, where my teachers care about my education and my soul, where people care that I am out of the building when the fire alarm goes off and that I am in a safe place every night. He has given me a life so abundant.

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have life more abundantly." John 10:10

He loves me. He loves me not because I am an obedient daughter or church going girl but because I was made in His image. And, He loves His creation. Oh so much.

He loves you like none other. You are special to Him. He loves you so much that He died with thick nails in His hands and in His feet nailed to a wooden cross, suffering in unexplainable agony, so that you might have a life more abundant through following Him.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." John 15:13

He wants to show Himself magnificent to you. He will be your ever faithful and loving friend.
From His love, we have a never-ending supply of love to show to the world. So, love someone with the love of Christ.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35

Soli Deo Gloria.

Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, 'You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.' Leviticus 19:2

This is a test. If this shows up on facebook, please send me an email. Thanks!
